I Come Back to you Now...

Well, started some writing...going pretty well...I have the prologue and some character notes...still working on a few names though...those are tougher than one would think...sheesh...

Haven't done any sketches yet...I want to get the plot written down first...just a rough draft is all I need for now...then I can transcribe it and start making my changes...

I have some ideas for the look of the site, but I need to figure out how to use Dreamweaver first...best go to the store and find a book or something...

Back in Business...

Ok, so it's been a while...I've been "creatively constipated" the last few months...I push and push for ideas, but nothing comes out...

Well, something finally popped out...

I've started working again on a classic project that's been in development for about 15 years...

I've begun to write an official treatment/synopsis of the story that I can submit for copyright and use to write the scripts and eventually get to the artwork...then it all goes online...it shouldn't take me too long to finish writing the treatment...submitting for copyright takes months...Last time I did it, it was about 6 months...so, this is a slow, painful process, but hopefully it'll pay off in the end.

So, the treatment is moving along pretty quickly...mostly because I've developed the majority of the story in my head for the last 15 years, so I pretty much know everything that happens, save for a few minor areas...

I still need some characters names...they've changed significantly over the years...the original names I had just won't work anymore...they were just silly and the wrong tone for the store that it has become now...

So, that's where I am...I have most of the characters designed...a couple still need work...so, just some final character designs and finalize some names for a few key characters and then we'll be rollin' on...

It's nice not to be constipated...

A Change of Plan...

OK, so I think I'm going to work on all my comics and update them here instead of just the one...I have so many that I want to finish, but progress is slow...I figure I'll get more done if I work on all of them at once...

So, I'll be jumping around, but I'll give them all code names so you can follow along...

I gotta get these things done...I'll just start with whichever one I get done first...heh

I'm doing some artwork that I'll be posting here shortly....keep an eye out...

Moving Along...

Well, I'm getting the story notes down on paper finally...I'm making good progress, actually...getting about a page or 2 down a day...getting the main story points down...

The next step after I'm done will be to type it out into a more formal rough draft treatment...then I can go through and fix all the plot holes and redundant points...

Been doing some sketches for characters...will finish those and post them soon...

Welcome to the first installment of the Golden Age Diaries!

Here, I'll be showcasing my latest comic book endeavour, tentatively titled "Golden Age Warriors"...Yes, I'm not entirely satisfied with this title, so I'm working on a new one...it's just not top priority right this minute as I haven't even written a single line of story yet...it's still just all in my head...

And that's where this blog comes in...I'll be posting updates on the progress of the development of the comic from conception to final publish...which will be online at first and then, God-willing, I'll be able to publish it in paper form...but that's a long ways down the road...baby steps, Brian...

I'll be posting updates on character developments, story ideas and artwork for the project...
